Eternal Magic is no longer supported

MMORPG Eternal Magic game servers have been shut down permanently

Eternal Magic is a free fantasy MMORPG with a flexible class system from Chinese developers Guangzhou Duoyi Network. The game was released in China in 2017, and two years later in Russia and the West thanks to publisher 101XP.

Recently 101XP announced the permanent shutdown of MMORPG Eternal Magic servers. The closure of the project was announced back in December, at the same time have been canceled the ability to recharge and create new characters. All payments made since November 1, 2021 were returned to users’ portal wallets.

101XP’s farewell message to fans of the game is as follows:

“Heroes!

For more than two and a half years, you and I have found friends and comrades-in-arms, developed new tactics and strategies, and engaged in deadly battles with bosses. Together we fought for Terrazia, fulfilling the prophecy of the Four Elemental Goddesses, the Patronesses of these lands. We have met all the challenges that the threads of fate had set for us with dignity, and we will long remember these unforgettable adventures. And they, unfortunately, have come to an end. We are forced to announce that on January 10, 2022 the world of Eternal Magic will be closed forever.”

It’s very likely that the reason for the closure was extremely low popularity of the game. If we take the statistics for the past few months, we can see that the number of simultaneous players on Steam at the peak was not more than 43. According to Steamcharts, in 2021, the average daily online was less than 80 players. That seems to be why Eternal Magic didn’t receive any updates for the last year of its existence.
