While the ambitious project has been in development for several years, we haven’t had a chance to admire Starfield’s gameplay yet. Still, Bethesda is allowing us to enjoy once again the excellent artwork its art team has been working on ahead of the game’s release at the end of the following year.
The Starfield art above depicts a mysterious cave that can probably be explored in-game. Given the experience of Bethesda’s past games, such as the Elder Scrolls and Fallout series, vast and convoluted dungeons or variations of them in the cosmic landscape may await us.
As the caption to the illustration says, this place contains many of the wonders that we will find during our interstellar journey: “What wonders will you discover in distant caves?” There is no doubt that in Starfield, we will be able to freely move through the wide, massive spaces of alien worlds, but it seems that the game will also have many more closed and mysterious places.
Unfortunately, this is all Bethesda has decided to give us this Christmas, and to get a better understanding of Microsoft’s space opera, we’ll still have to wait a bit. In any case, Todd Howard assured that Starfield development is in full swing and that the development team has made great strides lately.
Keep in mind; Starfield is the first new game universe in 25 years, developed by Bethesda Game Studios, the creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4.
Set in space, this next-gen RPG game lets you create any character and explore the universe in total freedom. Hit the road and uncover the greatest mystery of humanity.
The game will only be released on November 11, 2022, on Xbox Series X | S and PC.
