The PC version of Capcom‘s hunting spectacle will appear soon. If you play on your home computer instead of the Nintendo Switch, you can expect breathtaking graphics – as Capcom also proves with a series of new videos.
PC gamers will finally be able to blow their hunting horns to hunt monsters, sharpen their great swords and reach dizzying heights: Monster Hunter Rise is just around the corner. Since October last year there has been a demo for those who don’t yet know whether hunting dinosaurs, giant bats and samurai crabs is really their thing.
If you have already played the demo and still fluctuates or if you simply want to convince yourself of the graphic quality of Monster Hunter Rise on your home computer, Capcom now has a YouTube version for you uploaded couple of videos. You shouldn’t expect action-packed trailers, however, the 4K videos are more like monster-like ASMR.
Monster scales and sounds in 4K
A total of four videos have been uploaded in the past few weeks, in which, in addition to the Zinogre, the Tigrex, the Rathalos and, most recently, the Magnamalo were in the spotlight. As already mentioned, the videos show absolute top quality in terms of graphics with 4K, but you will have to do without gameplay.
Instead, all four videos zoom in on the monsters mentioned, showing their fur, scales, faces and limbs. The whole thing is not accompanied by harmonious music, but by the chirping of birds or the rustling of wind – and monster noises.
Sometime in the summer, both PC and Nintendo Switch owners can look forward to new, albeit paid, content for Monster Hunter Rise. Then the DLC Sunbreak appears, for which old friends and a new elder dragon have been confirmed. Further information on the expansion will follow according to Capcom in the spring.
