A Plague Tale 2 – Requiem: trailer shows great graphics

Next year we expect the second part of the action adventure A Plague Tale: Innocence, which can definitely be described as a surprise success. For the successor A Plague Tale: Requiem there is now a gameplay trailer that shows impressive and beautiful graphics. As in the first part, the subject of the plague is still topical here.

The successful A Plague Tale: Innocence will be followed up next year, namely A Plague Tale: Requiem. Of course, we don’t hope that the name says it all and that the game series is buried, because Requiem is a holy mass in memory of the deceased.

A Plague Tale: Requiem gameplay trailer

There is now a new trailer for the second part of the action adventure, which also shows gameplay and thus in-game graphics. The game stays true to its style, but looks even more detailed and scores with beautiful, atmospheric graphics.

The trailer gives the impression that it’s still about the plague, because again you have to use fire to cut your way through masses of rats. But it also looks like it’s about a bigger journey. We are curious to see how the story about Amicia, who is probably in her teenage years in the first part, and her little brother will develop.

When will A Plague Tale: Requiem be released?

The game also reveals a rough release date, but that’s just the same as it was already known: it should be so far in 2022. Then the medieval adventure appears for the PC, PS5, Xbox Series X / S and thanks to cloud streaming also for the Nintendo Switch. Implementations for PS4 and Xbox One are no longer planned.

Successor to A Plague Tale: Innocence

The first part, A Plague Tale: Innocence, was released in May 2019 and received critical acclaim. Much more important, however, was that it was very well received by many gamers. The gloomy, but sometimes also romantic medieval world, in which as an amice and her little brother you have to face many dangers and usually proceed as quietly as possible, hit a nerve with many players.

And the game was also a good tip for casual gamers, as it runs very linearly and you are not overwhelmed by missions and a number of options such as crafting and collecting resources.
